Welcome to our club
Broadwater Dragons Paddling Club was formed in September, 2001, by a committed and enthusiastic team of experienced paddlers. Our objective is to establish both a social and competitive dragon boat club in order to develop the sport locally and to compete at local, state, national and international regattas. This sport has something for everyone. We are located at Arthur Earle Park, Nerang and train on Tuesday and Thursday's at 5.30pm and Saturday mornings at 7.30am. We are welcoming new members now for the 2019/2020 season. Come and give paddling a try!
MARCH 2020 - TRAINING DISCONTINUED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
The situation with COVID-19 is constantly changing and we all need to play our part in the efforts to limit the spread of this virus.
Consequently, AusDBF strongly advise that all our members and their clubs discontinue training and activities for the foreseeable future and abide by the government directives. If the dragon boat community co-operates, we should be able to limit the impact of these restrictions and can look forward to getting back on the water and competing next season.
Stay safe and look after each other.
Broadwater Dragons relocate to a permanent training ground on the Nerang River at Arthur Earle Park, Nerang. For training times click here.
