Come & Try - Beginner Days

Dragonboating is great for building confidence, fitness, and providing social contact in the great outdoors. 
We invite you to come along and give Dragon boat paddling a try. These events are free for all!
Come and give it a try! 

What to wear & bring?

  • A set of dry clothes and a towel.
  • Bottle of water or sports drink
  • Cap, sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Tight fitting T-shirts and shorts or tights
  • Enclosed sport shoes or aqua sandals
  •  A sense of adventure and humour is a must!

FAQs

Q: How many people can fit in a boat?
A: Up to 20 depending on the type of boat.

Q: Must I wear a PFD?
A: If you cannot swim 50m, you must wear a PDF in the boat.

Q: How much does it cost to participate in dragonboating?
A: It is FREE for a month on the Dragon Pass.

Q: How long is the session?
A: About 1 hour

Q: Can I bring my friends and kids as well?
A: Yes, parents and their kids are more than welcome to join in on the fun!

Q: Do I need to bring any equipment?
A: We can provide you with a paddle and PFD if required.
