Juniors Come & Try - 14th July

Dragonboating is great for team  and confidence building, socialising & fun.  Broadwater invites you to come along and give Dragon Boating a try. 
This event is free for juniors!
Come and give it a try! 

What to wear & bring?

  • A set of dry clothes and a towel.
  • Water or sports drink (Sports dring bottle)
  • Cap, sunscreen and sunglasses (on sunny days)
  • Tight fitting T-shirts and  non-slip shorts 
  • Sport shoes, sandals or aqua socks
  •  A sense of adventure and humour a must!

Every Sunday at 7.30am, Ross Street Boat Ramp

FAQs

Q: How many people can fit in a boat?

A: Up to 10 or 20 depending on the type of boat.

Q: Do all juniors have to wear a PFD?

A: Yes, even if they have lifesaving skills and can swim

Q: How much does it cost per child, to participate in dragonboating?

A: FREE for the day

Q: How long is the session?

A: About 1 hour

Q: Can parents jump in the boat too?

A: Yes, parents are more than welcome to join in on the fun!

Q: What are the chances of a child falling in the water?

A: This has yet to happen as dragon boats are very stable, and our trained coaches will do everything in their power to keep the children safe.
