Sunshine Coast Dragonboat Regatta or Rainbow Region Dragonboat Festival

Hi paddlers, there are two dragon boat festivals happening on the same weekend.  Sunshine Coast Dragonboat Regatta and the Rainbow Region Dragonboat Festival.  The coaches and committee before making a final decision on which to attend, is asking for the paddlers for their opinion.

Pros/Cons
Sunshine Coast Dragonboat Regatta
Competitive Regatta
At Kawana Lakes
Half an hour further from Nerang then Rainbow Region Dragonboat Festival

Rainbow Region Dragonboat Festival
Fun, social regatta, 200m sprints
Closer by half hour to Nerang then Sunshine Coast Dragonboat Regatta
Rainbow Region club attended Broadwater's sports regatta last year
