What is considered a Corporate and a Community Team?

Corporate Teams are those teams that are supported by a for-profit business.  This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Banks
  • Insurance companies
  • Manufacturing
  • Pharmaceutical companies
  • Professional Services (Law, Accounting, Engineering Firms)
  • Media
  • Fitness Clubs

Community teams are comprised of team members brought together through a community, social, club or family network.  Examples of community teams include:

  • Colleges
  • Families
  • High schools
  • Hospitals
  • Neighborhoods
  • Religious organizations
  • Universities
  • Amateur Sports Clubs
Can you help us fill up our boat?
Yes, we receive a number of individual registrants who are eager to climb into a boat and help your team get to the finish line first.
Does each team have a spot for a tent?
Yes, each team will be provided a 5m x 5m space along the footpath right in front of the lake
How large can a tent be?
  • Up to 5m x 5m tents are allowed.
  • Many teams embrace the festivities by decorating their team’s site. Make the day yours and enjoy, remember there is a spirit award! Take the challenge and show your team’s spirit.
Can we add last-minute paddlers?
Yes, we will have some printed registration waivers the morning of the event. Send your paddlers to the registration table and we will get them processed. However, no one will be allowed on the boat without completing the registration and waiver form.

Where can we park for race day?
There is ample parking area just opposite the lake, and parking officials will guide you to the  parking area on arrival.
