Qeshone and Renise started dragon boating at the age of 12 and 13 yrs paddling for Sonics. They both went on to represent Qld in the Juniors division for 3 consecutive years at the Nationals in Melbourne,  Penrith and the Sunshine Coast with great success.

In 2012 both girls trialed for the 2013 junior Australian squad and were both successful in being named in the squad. Unfortunately we had to withdraw Renise due to the huge financial cost. Qeshone went on to represent Australia in the under 18 div at the World Championships in Hungary and returned home with 2 gold, 2 silver and a bronze medal combined with the Australian juniors bringing home a total of 11 medals overall.

Renise and Qeshone have since travelled to Italy to compete in the World club champs representing the GoldCoast Broadwater juniors and were successful in achieving 4 silver medals in 2014.

More recently both girls have successfully trialed for the 2015 Australian teams with Renise being named in the u 18s team and Qeshone aged 17 yrs being the youngest paddler named in the under 24yrs team they will represent Australia at the World games in Canada in 2015. They are both proud to be members of the Broadwater Dragons.
